Mr Saurabh Pandey (PhD Student) controls a Bose Einstein Condensation Experiment via two computers. The screen in the middle shows a live image of Rubidium atoms in a magento optical trap (MOT). The device on the right is a four channel oscilloscope showing the amplitude of magnetic trapping fields. The picture was taken in the Laboratory for BEC and matter-waves of the Cretan Matter Waves group at IESL-FORTH on Crete.
